Short version: we use only what the site needs to work. There are no advertising cookies, no analytics and no third-party tracking on 2u.events — which is why you are not asked to click through a consent wall.
What we store, and why
This is the complete list. Everything here is either strictly necessary to provide the service or a preference you set yourself.

Protecting the AI assistant
The AI assistant costs us money for every reply, so it is protected against automated abuse by Cloudflare Turnstile. It runs invisibly — there is nothing to click, and no puzzle to solve.
Alongside it we derive a short technical signal from your browser and network request, which we store only as an irreversible hash and only long enough to apply a rate limit. It is used to throttle floods, never to recognize you, build a profile, or link your visits together.
What we do not do
- No advertising or marketing cookies.
- No analytics or visitor statistics packages.
- No third-party trackers, social widgets or advertising pixels.
- No selling or sharing of personal data with advertisers.
- Fonts are served from our own server, so no font CDN sees your visit.
Managing storage
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time in your browser settings. Clearing them signs you out and discards any unfinished draft; the site will otherwise keep working normally.
